Artist Development Demo Package: Courting the Muse
Our Demo Package is for artists who want to take a significant step forward in their musical development as they make a high quality demo. Courting the Muse has three components—discovery, development and demo recording.

1. Discovery—Identification of where you have been, where you are, and where you are going in your musical life. This includes:
   • Musical autobiography exercise
   • Musical archetype identification
   • Formation of musical value system
   • Creating a musical palette
   • Identification of creative obstacles and blockages
2. Development—Deciding the most relevant area to focus on and mapping out the creative process. This includes:
   • Listening and/or reading recommendations
   • Directed listening process
   • Cathartic writing exercise
   • Identification of musical vision
   • Basic arrangement, orchestration and charts
3. Demo—Tracking, mixing and mastering of between one and three songs or compositions using the Whole Musician Production Process.™ This includes:
   • Microphone performance training
   • Nuanced headphone environment
   • Nurturing and nourishing performance coaching
   • Rich, multi-instrumental accompaniment
   • A challenging musical workout

Individual Song Development and Production: Songcraft
Our Songcraft option is for artists who want to develop and record between one and five fully produced songs. This option includes the following:

Pre-Production—We use this phase of the project to take a musical inventory, clarify the artist’s vision and create a production strategy. This phase includes:

• Creating a musical palette
• Identification of creative obstacles and blockages
• Reading and listening assignments and exercises
• Guided experimentation and improvisation
• Contracting instrumentalists, engineers, and outside studios as needed

Production—in addition to standard tracking and multi-tracking we use the production process as an opportunity to discover more about the song(s) and the artist. This includes:

• Tempo identification and multi-textural groove formation
• Vocal and instrumental coaching
• Microphone performance training
• Nuanced headphone environment
• Nurturing and nourishing performance coaching
• Rich, multi-instrumental accompaniment
• A challenging musical workout

Post-Production—We include and encourage the artist’s participation in the post-production process, helping them understand the nuances of mixing and mastering. This phase includes:

• Storytelling mix technique™
• Soundsculpting approach to editing and effects
• Song placement strategy
• Artwork and packaging resources

Full CD Development and Production: The Art of the Album
The Art of the Album is for artists who are ready for the release, growth and catharsis that come from assembling and developing a body of work (6 to 24 songs) into a unified whole.

The Let It Out approach to crafting an album is holistic and uses the recording process to facilitate personal transformation, musical evolution and greater clarity with regard to your professional life, in addition to creating a marketable product.

Full CD development and production includes all the features of our Courting the Muse Demo Package and our Songcraft Individual Song Development and Production as well as:
